Born october,1970 |
35 years old, 25 in musical activity, combined with scolar studies. In February 96, I finally abandonned my professionnal activity (Projets Leading in Computer Sciences) in order to spend time to artistic expression, essencially with music. I am musician professionnal since june 97.
In february 2001, I graduated to C.A. (highest level given by the Ministery of Culture) of Traditional Music Teacher (option : carnival brazilian percussions).
Specialized in brazilian percussions, I studied in Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Olinda, São Paulo and Salvador da Bahia. Musical/artistical Director of Macunaima (Traditionnal Samba School in Bordeaux) ; first genuine Samba School in France), I worked as well with many groups like Saravah (Tours), the Maracatu Malicioso (Saint Macaire), Los Cumbancheros (Mont de Marsan), etc.
During the last years, I was drums/percussion professor at the Music School of Talence (33).On the socio-educative side, I collaborated to the birth of Tanagra, organisation for animation and multi-cultural diffusion for young people. Passionned for the traditions and their evolutions, I hope for a better knowing of the human being by the way of his innumerous cultures.
In abril 2004, I was member of the jury for the D.E. (French State Diploma) of Traditionnal Music Teacher.
For many years, I was doing extended studies on Brazilian Music. Recently, I graduated in 2004 to the Master in Music and Musicology (François-Rabelais University of Tours). I'm now preparing the DEA (Extensive study diploma) in Psychopedagogy of Music (Paris IV-Sorbonne University).
